Step: 4 Now another Window will appear there you have to click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then under it click on Properties button.

Step: 5 Now you will have to Check on using the following DNS server Addresses option where you will input the following DNS server values just as shown in picture below.

  • Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
  • Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

Solution 3: Using (Command Prompt) CMD

Follow these 2 easy steps to fix DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error in your Google Chrome web browser.
First of all you need to open an elevated Command Prompt, Example: (Command Prompt with Admin Rights). When it gets opened, copy and paste the following commands one by one.

  • netsh winsock reset
