ACDSee is a powerful graphic viewer and organizer. The program features file viewing in formats such as DCX, BMP, JPEG, PCX, GIF (including animated), PNG, PIC, PSD, TGA, PCD, WMF, TIFF, totaling nearly 100 formats. It performs searches for duplicates, including subsequent comparison of them. It supports writing to optical media, creating photo albums, slideshows, and includes editing, conversion, and many other functions. It works with digital cameras and scanners.
The program, released by ACD Systems, is shareware for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. It contains many image processing tools, including batch processing. The latest versions have two modes: quick and full.
