AutoGK (Auto Gordian Knot) is used for copying DVD discs to DivX, AVI, XViD formats.
This is a collection of programs: DGMPGDec; AviSynth/AviSynthFilters; Virtual DubMod; XviD codec; VobSub; Auto Gordian Knot - a command shell that allows encoding configuration via a graphical interface.
The DVD conversion process is described in the documentation accompanying the suite. The package provides resolution adjustment, removal of protection from DVD files, audio quality settings, subtitle addition, automatic consideration of the output file size. A movie can be placed on a single CD or you can arbitrarily set the size of the resulting DivX/XviD file. Queued processing of several movies is supported.
Main functionality:
- Selecting a video source for conversion: DVD disc, VOB file (HDD), any AVI file, MPEG1, MPEG2.
- Output file formats: DivX(5/6) or XviD.
- Source audio tracks: DTS, PCM, AC3, MPA.
- Output audio files: MPA, AC3, DTS, MP3, CBR/VBR.
- Creating files with 2 audio tracks.
- Adding subtitles to video files.
- Configuring batch processing option.
- Auto cropping and resizing based on the input file to achieve best quality.
- Auto deinterlacing.
- Auto splitting of the file by CD disc size for video and subtitles.
