Microsoft Security Essentials - a package of free antivirus MSE applications from Microsoft, designed for reliable protection against trojan programs, various viruses, spyware, and rootkits. The program works only on PCs running Windows XP (32-bit), 7, and Vista (64 or 32-bit). MSE replaced the commercial antivirus program Windows LiveOneCare and is intended for home PCs. The license also allows its free use for small businesses.
The new search and protection technology Dynamic Signature Service enables recognition of new types of virus attacks and blocks complex malicious programs. The antivirus easily integrates with any licensed Windows OS; otherwise, it will automatically block installation. The program interface is stylish. The antivirus program installs quickly and does not require a computer restart.
