By decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the OO.org office suite was provided to the country's schools in 2008 for teaching computer literacy and informatics as part of a set of basic open and licensed software. Spell checking: To enable spell checking and hyphenation for Russian in OO.org, you need to install the Russian spelling dictionary. Installation is done using the extension management service. First, you need to download the dictionary [dict_ru_RU-0.6.oxt], and then install it via the menu command "Tools => Extension Manager".
