VkAudioSaver – is an excellent application that allows you to download and listen to music from the popular social network Vkontakte. The application allows you to conveniently search for audio you are interested in, as well as edit entire albums and download favorite audio from playlists (yours, public communities, news posts, and other users of the social network).
The application operates at maximum speed, allowing you to play your favorite songs on your computer almost immediately after clicking the download button.
There is a quick search with built-in suggestions for the most popular artists and songs (Last.fm). The application has a built-in player, with which you can listen to a track you are interested in before downloading it. You can also add a liked audio recording to your profile playlist.
Additionally, you can manage tracks on your page (add, delete, send to albums, move, etc.). The program allows you to broadcast the currently playing track in your status. To use the application, you simply need to log in as you would to your account.
The program is very small, simple, intuitive, and has a Russian interface. It has become particularly relevant after the recent time limit on listening to music from Vkontakte in the background. Now, tracks from the social network can be quickly and easily downloaded to a computer or smartphone folder and played from there later, as well as set as ringtones for calls.
VkAudioSaver can be used in two modes: with or without authorization
Without authorization, you can simply search for the desired tracks in the "search" tab: by song title or artist. Songs can be played immediately.
Authorization proceeds in the same way as on the Vkontakte social network. In the "Settings" - "Authorization" tab, you need to enter your VK account login and password, and then click the "get SMS with code" button.
When the correct code is entered, your account will be displayed in the program. This data entry is completely secure, as the program does not intercept passwords.
Now the program user has synchronization with the VK account, and their actions with music in VkAudioSaver will be displayed in the Vkontakte playlist and vice versa.
In the program, the user can create their own playlists and fill them with tracks. The fact is that doing this in Vkontakte is less convenient, while VkAudioSaver is specifically designed for such actions. Adding/deleting tracks, creating/deleting playlists, broadcasting music to the status, adding a track to the wall – all of this is achievable using the program.
There are basic functions necessary for playback: start, stop, pause, go to next or previous, shuffle tracks, loop playback. There is a simple equalizer.
Advantages
It is worth noting the program's speed: the desired tracks are found instantly, authorization takes fractions of a second, and downloading and adding tracks is lightning fast.
On the program's official website and the Vkontakte public page (both links can be found in the "about program" tab), users will receive answers to questions and technical support. VkAudioSaver is constantly updated, fixing shortcomings and errors.
Disadvantages noted by users
- inability to transfer more than 20 tracks at once;
- inability to download music from public pages;
- the need to re-authorize every time the program is closed.
The main complaints from users are based on the need to authorize through the program. However, VkAudioSaver is specifically designed for synchronization with this social network, and complaining about the authorization request is incorrect.
In the settings, you can change the font, set search criteria (by bitrate level), set the audio output device, change the proxy server, and set the folder for downloading tracks.
For the download location (folder), you can also set a number of parameters: open the folder immediately after downloading, notify about download completion, skip existing files, create a subfolder for a specific artist or for a specific playlist.
The program is free, easy to download, lightweight, and available in Russian and English versions.
