Wavosaur is used for editing sound samples, mastering, converting, and recording audio. The program performs deletion, copying, and insertion of any sound segments, as well as processing mp3 and wav files.

Thanks to the above-described functions of this program, you can manipulate fragments of audio files. For example, by selecting a certain interval of an audio file, you can copy it by choosing the "Copy" option in the context menu. This fragment is copied to your computer's clipboard. Now you can perform various manipulations with this fragment.
Functionality
Also, this program offers a huge variety of all kinds of effects for manipulating audio fragments. These can be found in the Tools tab, which contains options for looping and recording sounds, as well as many other tools.
It should be noted that this program has many different capabilities, and one of them is recording. To activate recording, simply click on the coveted red button. The entire recording is saved in a new file, and this happens automatically. But there are also downsides; during recording, the only confirmation will be the volume level indicator.
If necessary, you can use the volume automation function. To use this function, you need to find the Automation tab and then select the Create volume tab in the context menu. After such manipulations, a volume change curve will be displayed on the graphical representation of the audio file, allowing you to manipulate the entire track or just fragments.
