ImgBurn – is used for burning Blu-Ray, CD, and DVD discs. It has a set of necessary tools for burning virtually any Blu-Ray, DVD, and CD disc images. The program was created by Lightning UK!, the author of the famous but now discontinued DVD Decrypter project, which was designed for removing DVD protection and copying discs.
The main feature of ImgBurn is its support for a huge number of drives from many manufacturers. It supports all new drives, including recorders that change booktype / bitsetting parameters (LiteOn, BenQ, NEC, Sony, Plextor). The program has many additional settings, for example, associations with image file extensions (LST, UDI, BIN, GCM, CDI, CDR, IMG, FI, ISO, PDI, MDS, NRG, DVD), interface selection for burning (ASAPI, ASPI, SPTI), sound schemes, and more.
With default settings, the program works immediately after installation, but advanced users can choose options themselves. The DVDInfoPro option provides analysis and display of burning data. You can save selected burning settings. The program enables writing and reading disc images; creates individual images without writing them; works in folder and file burning modes. A disc verification mode is built-in. Additionally, data verification is performed on the media; recording quality analysis is conducted; disc information is provided. It is possible to search the Internet and download a new version of firmware for this drive.
Main functionality:
- Supports file formats: CUE, BIN, DI, IMG, DVD, GI, MDS, NRG, ISO, PDI images.
- Supports creating video DVD discs (from VIDEO_TS folder), HD DVD discs (from HVDVD_TS folder), and Video Blu-ray discs (from BDAV/BDMV folder).
- Burns CD audio from any supported files: FLAC, AAC, APE, M4A, MPC, MP3, PCM, WAV, MP4, WV, OGG, WMA.
- Supports Unicode for folders and files.
- Closing and opening the drive tray.
- Locks and unlocks the drive tray opening.
- Searches the Internet for new firmware versions for the recording device.
- Supports replacing ISO image labels.
- Erases discs in full and quick mode.
Attention! When Russifying the program, download the required archive and unpack it into the Languages folder of the installation directory (C:ProgramFiles ImgBurn Languages). Then go to settings (Tools - Settings...) and select the desired language from the list.
