Calibre is an excellent cross-platform compact manager program designed for
organizing and managing a vast library of ebooks in various formats on a PC or removable media. The utility works with Android and other smartphones, various readers. You can also convert a publication to the desired format in a few seconds. In addition, the program provides convenient work with Internet archives.
With
Calibre you can send files to different electronic devices, edit metadata, quickly find necessary publications in online libraries or stores, and add covers to ebooks. It should be especially noted that by installing the necessary plugins, you can extend the program's functionality.
Library contains a database with information about books: author, publisher, title. Cover, release date, rating, tags. When adding books, you need to enter all information about it; the book file is placed in the Library folder. Information about the book is obtained from the Internet using ISBN.
