VirtualDub in Windows is used for editing, capturing, and processing video streams. The program was created by Avery Lee. A significant advantage of the program is performing many operations without recompression. The utility can be used for simple linear video operations.
VirtualDub uses plug-in modules or built-in filters from third-party developers. VirtualDub converts MPEG1 to 24-bit AVI. Additionally, the program's advantage is the "from source file to destination file" operating mode, without creating a project file.
